An already victorious week for Super Bowl LI halftime performer Lady Gaga is just getting more exciting, with the announcement Tuesday (Feb. 7) that the pop star will be appearing on the upcoming season 9 premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Gaga revealed the news on Twitter, along with a short teaser video, in which Mother Monster throws down the gauntlet: "And may the best woman win."
A press release sent out Tuesday confirmed the Gaga appearance, and also noted that the Drag Race premiere will "unveil a court of cut-throat Queens each competing to snatch the crown and strut away with a $100,000 cash prize and the coveted title of 'America’s Next Drag Superstar.'"

The air date for the season nine premiere has not yet been announced.
